  • This is a great question, and something that unfortunately is widely overlooked when it comes to taking care of homes. It is very important to ensure all surfaces are properly sealed and protected from the elements. If you neglect your home’s exterior for too long, it can lead to more costly repairs down the road. If you notice flaking paint, cracked caulk joints, and faded surfaces – then it is most likely time to give your home's exterior some attention.

  • Rotted wood is often caused by neglected surfaces or improper installation. When remediating rotted wood, it is very important to find and rectify the cause so it doesn’t continue to be a problem. We highly suggest that all exterior rotted wood be replaced with synthetic material to ensure longevity.

  • When it’s time to refinish your hardwood floors, there are several steps to the process. First, you need to remove everything from the room(s). Next we thoroughly sand the floors down to the bare wood. Then, we apply a coat of stain to match the desired color for the floor refinishing, and lastly we apply three coats of polyurethane. You should consider refinishing your hardwood floors when you notice peeling and extensive fading.

  • Depending on the age of your home and the type of windows installed, new windows can certainly contribute to lower energy bills.
